SUMMER EBT OUTREACH MATERIALS

To help raise awareness of the new Summer EBT program for children, the Illinois Commission to End Hunger has developed awareness and outreach materials available for anyone to use.

Summer EBT (SEBT) provides a monthly grocery benefit to low-income families with school-aged children during the summer months when children are out of school. Because SEBT is a new program, implemented in Illinois in 2024, communities can play an important role in raising awareness about the program, who is eligible, and how to get connected.

All materials are available in English and Spanish, and many materials are available in 5 additional languages. Materials include both print and digital options that can be used on social media, in newsletters, on websites, or in physical locations. Materials also include templates for direct communication to families by letter, email, text, or robocall.
